河南医学高等专科学校是经河南省人民政府批准设置的一所公办医学普通高等专科学校，隶属于河南省卫生健康委员会。学校创办于1952年，前身是河南省卫生干部学校，承担全省医疗卫生人员培训和普通中等医学教育；2002年开始招收普通专科学生，承担普通专科医学教育任务；2013年3月，经河南省人民政府批准改制为河南医学高等专科学校。

学校现有两个校区，南校区位于郑州新郑教育园区，北校区位于郑州市金水区，占地面积共74.84万平方米，校舍总建筑面积32.32万平方米，固定资产总值5.62亿元，教学科研仪器设备总值1.13亿元，馆藏图书73.68万册，电子图书51万册。学校现有教授和副教授207人，博士15人、硕士401人；拥有二级教授、省学术技术带头人、省职业教育教学专家、省级青年骨干教师等35人，引进特聘教授9人。学校面向全国17个省份招生，现有全日制学生11897人，成人专科教育学生797人、成人本科教育学生473人，2020年报到率97.39%。

 

学校是河南省职业教育特色院校、省级优质高等职业院校、中国人民解放军空军士官人才培养定点院校，河南省高等职业学校高水平专业建设单位。目前设护理系、医学系、药学系、检验系、医学技术系、思想政治理论教学研究部、公共基础部、基础医学部、体育部、继续教育部等教学单位，开设临床医学、护理、药学、医学检验技术、医学影像技术等23个专业（方向）。护理专业是全国职业院校养老服务类示范专业点、全国护理示范实训基地、省特色专业，临床医学、医学检验技术、医学影像技术、药学专业被评为河南省高等学校综合改革试点专业。学校连续八届蝉联全省护理技能大赛团体一等奖，荣获全国卫生职业院校检验技能大赛团体一等奖三次、二等奖两次，临床医学专业团体一等奖、影像专业团体一等奖。

 

学校建有1500平方米的医学科研实验中心，成立河南省脑退行性疾病重点实验室、老年医学研究所、肿瘤研究所和细胞生物学、分子生物学、免疫学实验室等。建成河南省临床技能实训中心，包括基础实验室、专业实训室共135个。学校是国家自然科学基金依托单位，近3年取得厅级以上课题150项，获得专利147项，发表论文866篇；省级精品在线开放课程4门、立体化教材3门。学校职业培训成效显著，作为河南卫生人员培训中心、河南省全科医学培训中心、河南省护理人员培训中心、河南省专业技术人员继续教育培训基地等14个省级专业技术人员培训基地，持续开展全省专科护士培训、全科医生转岗培训、乡村医生培训等，促进全省卫生相关专业技术人员能力提升，年均培训各类人员达1.5万人。

 

学校附属医院是一所集医疗、教学、科研、康复和预防保健为一体的三级综合医院，设计床位2000张，开放床位820张，专业齐全，设备先进，完善功能。加强校院（企）合作，共同建设了64个校外教学实习基地，满足临床教学和实习实训需要。

College Profile

 

Henan Medical College(HMC)is a public medical college approved by Henan provincial people’s government. It is under the administration of Health Commission of Henan Province. The school was founded in 1952, formerly known as Henan Health Cadre School, which is responsible for the training of provincial medical and health personnel and general secondary medical education. In 2002, it began to recruit general college students and undertake the task of general college medical education. In March 2013, it was restructured into HMC with the approval of HenanProvincialPeople’sGovernment.

 

Over the past70 years, HMC upholds the motto of“Great kindness, Wisdom, Sincerity and Far-reaching”, and carries forward the spirit of“self-improvement, perseverance, hard struggle and selfless dedication”. Based in Henan Province, radiating the whole country, facing the grass-roots level, relying on industry and serving the society, HMC adheres to the combination of academic education and vocational training, continues to strengthen the connotation construction, closely integrates the development needs of the health industry and related industries in Henan Province, and focus on training high-quality technical and skilled personnel. Graduates are all over our province's medical and health institutions, and have made positive contributions to the development of health and health undertakings in our province.

 

HMC consists of two campuses. The southern campus is located in Xinzheng Education Park, and the northern campus is in Jinshui District, Zhengzhou City. It covers an area of74.84square meters, with a total building area of 32.32square meters, a total fixed assets value of 562million yuan, a total value of113million yuan for teaching and scientific research instruments and equipment, 736,800 books and 510,000 e-books in the library. The college currently has207professors or associate professors; 15 with Doctor’s Degree and401with Master’s Degree; 35 with titles of second-level professors, Provincial Academic and Technological leaders, Provincial Vocational Education and Teaching experts or provincial young key teachers; and 9 specially appointed professors. The college has 11,897full-time students,797adult education studentsand 473 adult undergraduate studentsfrom 17provinces of China. The registering rate is 97.39% in 2020.

 

HMC is a specially vocational education institution in Henan province, a provincial quality school construction unit, a designated training school for the PLA air force, and a high-level professional construction unit of higher vocational schools in Henan Province. At present, the college has the department of nursing, department of medicine, department of pharmacy, department of laboratory science, department of medical technology, department of ideological and political theory teaching and research, department of public foundation, department of basic medicine, department of physical education, ministry of continuing education and other teaching units, and it has clinical medicine, nursing, pharmacy, medical laboratory technology, medical imaging technology and other 23 professional (direction). The nursing is a demonstration specialty of old-age care service in national vocational colleges and universities, the national nursing demonstration training base, provincial characteristics of the major. Clinical medicine, medical inspection technology, medical imaging technology, and pharmacy are rated as pilot majors for comprehensive reform of colleges and universities in Henan province. Our school has won the first prize in provincial nursing skills competition for eight consecutive times, the first prize of national health vocational college examination skills competition for three times, the second prize for two times, the first prize of the clinical medicine professional group, and the first prize of the imaging professional group.

The affiliated hospital ofthe collegeis a comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, rehabilitation and prevention and health care. It has2,000 designed beds and 820 first-phase open beds.
